Pradip Saha, 53, co-director of DamageControl, a research and communication consultancy for social sector. He was associated director of Centre for Science and Environment [CSE] till 2010, and Managing editor of Down To Earth, a fortnightly on science and environment. He has been involved with large scale campaigns on clean air, rainwater harvesting, forestry issues and climate change. Has special interest in issues around water. He has also made a video called ‘Faecal Attraction: Political economy of defecation’ in 2007 to start a public dialogue on sewage in Delhi. The 58 minute video ‘Mean Sea level’ on sinking islands in the Sundarbans was screened in MoMA PS1 in August this year. He has also collaborated in various art projects with Raqs Media Collective, Ranbir Kaleka and Hemant Sareen.
