Jayant is an Electrical and Electronics Engineer by training from VIT, Vellore and has been working with GIZ (German International Cooperation) for the past 1 year on environment, sustainability, resources and E-waste management. He works on policy advocacy, research, informal sector formalization, social enterprise building and capacity building & training. He has conducted Sustainability and E-waste sessions and drives across schools and RWAs in Delhi and NCR and also organized participatory and capacity building workshops for various stake-holder groups including govt. bodies, corporates, PSUs etc. In addition to Delhi, he is also working on sustainable consumption, sustainability and E-waste in the cities of Ahmedabad and Kolkata. He is the Project Coordinator for Nokia-GIZ DPP which aims to build an eco-system where students and the youth can use creative mediums like film-making, dance, photography, theater etc. to deal with the issue of sustainability and sustainable consumption in these two cities
