3-Dimensional Floating Displays

Pioneer shows off its Floating Vision display.

I’m not sure this 2-dimensional video can adequately convey the nature of the display, but the shadow that the floating object casts on other parts of the interface (seen around 1:33 in the video) may give the best indication of how the image appears in person.
