Do YOU want to innovate for better rural healthcare?

We’re very pleased to announce that the Bihar Innovation Lab is all set for a mid-august kickoff with two extensive projects starting on the 27th of August, 2012. Over the next few months, the Lab will be applying itself to a tough, stimulating and diverse set of public health innovation challenges.

The Lab, a collaboration between the State Govt. of Bihar, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Partners of the Ananya Alliance and CKS, has a mandate to develop and deploy effective solutions to Bihar’s most pressing healthcare challenges. As a start, it will focus on the design of four high impact innovations targeted at radically improving maternal and child healthcare, identifying latent but critical healthcare needs, and training government and social sector health cadres in innovation thinking and practices.

The lab leadership is now on the lookout for the most talented, energetic and motivated professionals who are as passionate about innovation in the public interest as we are. As we build out the Lab’s squad, we seek to engage innovators, public health experts, communications and media officers, and operations executives who will collaboratively give this initiative its form and identity.

Detailed job descriptions will be posted on our CKS website soon, and will also be shared on the Design Public blog and twitter feed, so stay tuned! We’re always open to permanent as well as unconventional engagement models, so please share your portfolios, resumes and writing samples and contact our HR Manager, Urwashi Priyadarshini at careers@cks.in | 9891076111 for more information and opportunities.
