When I was in Srishti we had several professors who occupied this space of bio-designer/artists, and I remember several inspired students who took their courses. I don't know whether they still run, but it seemed at the time there was building momentum.

I don't know much about other colleges that might offer similar opportunities, but my recent time at KHOJ working on ecologies in Gurgaon, has made me realize that there are so many people working in that space, not biology per se, but ecologies of living systems. It's about getting in touch with those individuals and working with them. Seems like the best option is framing your own project, and seeking out opportunities that they can plug into.

Hello Aditya,

I very much enjoyed your ideas towards innovation. I have been reading about the education system in India and find it very concerning. I believe young children all over the world deserve the best possible start to life and think we can make a change by helping our education staff through support and resources.

Check out TESIndia ( www.tesindia.com ), which is a great network created by teachers for teachers.
With over 500,000 free high quality resources online, TESIndia provides an online community where education professionals can collaborate, encourage and inspire each other.

I think you may find it interesting!

Hi Akanksha,

You've taken up a very relevant conversation. I feel there is a lack of awareness about the seriousness of consequences of this problem.
